To help promote the use, preservation, and enhancement of our iconic natural wonder, we invite you to join the Friends of Weeki Wachee Springs State Park Citizens Support Organization.
The Friends are a passionate group of volunteers that works tirelessly to generate support and additional resources through events and activities designed to meet the needs of the park.
Weeki Wachee Springs State Park is grateful for the generous support the Friends have provided for the park since 2009. Some examples of their support include funding for:
- Our new Children’s Playground
- Front landscaping and around our iconic fountain
- Handicap-accessible walkways
- Funding for the First-Aid Building
- The Park’s Concert Stage
- Sound system for the Wildlife Department
- Apple computer to edit & produce new shows
- Renovations of the Guest Relations Building
- Replacement of wrought-iron fence & gates
- Purchase of mermaid tails for traveling mermaids
- Additional park landscaping
Currently, you can get involved to help us raise funding to build our new Splash Park!
