No. Weeki Wachee Springs State Park offers outdoor activities. Inclement weather can affect these activities with delays or closures. Please check the weather before visiting the park as you would if scheduling any outdoor activity.
Yes. Very often throughout the summer, the park does reach capacity. Once there are a certain number of visitors at any given time inside the park, Weeki Wachee will not permit anyone to enter until enough guests have left in order to safely reopen. This usually occurs every weekend, and often the parking lot is full before the park opens. Please schedule YOUR day accordingly. We recommend signing up for the park’s text alert system by texting the keyword, WEEKI, to 82149.
Pets are not permitted inside the park. However, service animals as defined by the ADA are permitted. Emotional support animals are not recognized by the ADA as service animals. Thus, they are not permitted.
Once inclement weather is approaching, the park will cease operations of the waterslides, and require everyone to exit the water. This is for the safety of the guests and employees. Once the inclement weather has passed, activities will resume. Please note, the park does not offer refunds due to weather.
