Take a tranquil ride down the pristine waterway of the Weeki Wachee River and discover the natural beauty of Floridian wildlife, flora, and fauna.
This amazingly scenic float along crystal-clear waters gives you the chance to see nesting bald eagles, mullet, cooter turtles, blue heron, wild turkey, deer, and colorful fish of all sizes. If you get lucky, your fascinating expedition may take you right alongside endangered West Indian manatees, so have your camera at the ready!
As you journey along, your River Boat Captain will inform and entertain you with plenty of nature tidbits, like the fact that Spanish moss is actually a member of the pineapple family.
Weeki Wachee Springs State Park also provides kayak rentals and paddling adventures for those who would like first-hand encounter with some of Florida’s native wildlife.
River Boat Cruises launch from within Weeki Wachee Spring State Park. The first boat leaves at 10am and runs continuously throughout the day. The last boat departs at 4:30pm. The boat ride is approximately 25 minutes long, and there is a 45 minute turn-around between boat rides. The river boat is ADA accessible.
